So book #2 is Rhage's story? Ok, I'm going in ladies but if I don't resurface in say...a week....please send The Rock to find me.

Peace out - WDreamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17849938650149163955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-68061312885325136702009-08-23T20:49:09.658-04:002009-08-23T20:49:09.658-04:00Love the WWF analogy, and I totally agree that the...Love the WWF analogy, and I totally agree that the rap slang is a little weird. But I suggest reading the next book (Rhage's) because it sets up Zsadist's book when he meets his girl. Zsadist book was by far my favorite, it was the one out of the series that I would reread in a heartbeat, the rest I thought were ok and worth a read but that's it. I'm VERY curious to read John Matthews book, not sure what to expect?Steph Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11965202121123031829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-69303207881208538042009-05-05T19:02:00.000-04:002009-05-05T19:02:00.000-04:00Rhage's story is the best one in my opinion- he's ...Rhage's story is the best one in my opinion- he's my favorite BDBH vampire. :o)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-26180847466707651752009-05-03T02:30:00.000-04:002009-05-03T02:30:00.000-04:00Ah, glad you all enjoyed the wrestling reference :...Ah, glad you all enjoyed the wrestling reference :)

Mandi and Nicola, you've convinced me - I'll read the books in order. Looking at the author's website strengthens the open-ended series idea since Rehvenge wasn't mentioned in DL yet he is the star of the latest book. Also, as Nicola mentioned, John Matthews is the hero of the next book and he's another character not mentioned in the original BDB.

So my journey with the BDB lives on. ;)Dreamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17849938650149163955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-30803923995890419952009-05-03T01:58:00.000-04:002009-05-03T01:58:00.000-04:00John Matthew's book is planned to be the next ...John Matthew's book is planned to be the next book, about a year from now.

I do think they're worth reading in order, and I do think of the first 4, DL is one of the weaker ones. Mostly because in the next 2-3 books, the really best part is the interaction between the brothers. You see the most of that in books 2,3,& 4.

I *never* skip pages when I read (really!) but I do kind of skim over the lesser stuff. I heartily agree with your list of WTFs but I love the books anyway. ;)Nicola O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13947359287796827837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-87388051016762802172009-05-02T17:35:00.000-04:002009-05-02T17:35:00.000-04:00Ohh, I didn't know it was open ended. I'll have to give it another go for Thor, he was one of my favs in DL.Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02103361994367710013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26474914357974747.post-26819860194323265482009-05-02T17:27:00.000-04:002009-05-02T17:27:00.000-04:00LMAO at your WWE match-ups!

I think they should be read in order because all the brothers appear in all the books so it would make more sense if you read them in order.

I say try the next one, Lover Eternal - Rhage's story. It is a bit different than Wrath!!! But the monkey sex and tortured hunks, are fun enough. The Lessers' (aka The alphabet gang) plot grows from book to book. But since I think their presence is pointless, skip away. I doubt it'll effect the enjoyment yay or nay, if your main interest is the romance plot.Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02103361994367710013noreply@blogger.com
